http://www.cctv.org/node/87533
ON INTERNET streaming video TELEVISION NOW ON BURLINGTON'S OWN CCTV.

The Federal Government Fish & Wildlife Service created new regulations to get a Permit to "take" Bald Eagles.

To "take" a Bald Eagle with a Permit means to "KILL" or to disturb, etc.

There are extremely few Bald Eagles in the State of Vermont and some are in Windsor County at the Springfield Lake Recreation Area.

The problem with the Springfield Lake Recreation Area is that it is run and controlled by the Federal Government U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and they ALLOW HUNTING there!

So, there are two federal government agencies who are now having a HUGE impact on the very few BALD EAGLES in Vermont!

2010 candidate Cris Ericson produced a 26 1/2 minute video on the NEW FEDERAL REGULATIONS TO "TAKE" BALD EAGLES WITH A PERMIT,
and it is airing now on streaming live
internet video at Burlington's own CCTV.

Please note, that although Cris Ericson did not go into all of the laws that affect NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS and the use of Bald Eagles as FALCONS, and the use of BALD EAGLE FEATHERS, that they can watch the video and then go to the websites that Cris shows in the video to learn more about THEIR RELIGIOUS RIGHTS AS NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS.

Cris Ericson, like most Americans, has a very varied ancestral background, but it does include some Native American Indians. Cris's grandfather, George Robert Ericson, was born in Kentucky. His mother was Elizabeth Magruder Ericson and she lived on HEMP LAWN FARM on the BENSON PIKE in SHELBY CO., KENTUCKY. Her mother was Lucinda Clark and then the Clark line goes back to the Smiths who, in the 1600's, married with Native American Indians in Virginia. Cris has arrowheads handed down to her.

Cris Ericson actually saw BALD EAGLES three times in 2009 at the Springfield Lake Recreation Area. This fall, when the hunting season started, Cris became very anxious for the safety of the Bald Eagles.

In the video, first Cris reads some of the new regulations, and then she stops talking and just shows you the neighborhood and shows you the area that she saw Bald Eagles in.
